Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park is a sanctuary for 84 protected species, including the American crocodile, wild cotton, and mahogany mistletoe. With over six miles of nature trails, this park offers unique opportunities to spot rare wildlife and plant life, making it a favorite for birdwatchers and photographers alike. The Old 7 Mile Bridge, connecting Marathon to Pigeon Key, is now officially open to the public! Closed to pedestrians in summer 2016 for a $41 million restoration project, this historic two mile bridge is a great way to learn about Henry Flagler and the rich history we have here in the Florida Keys.
